So what's in store for the Bossy Family website?
Well for starters there's been a bit of a redesign. Nothing too fancy, but hopefully it will fascilitate more participation and use. I am eager to find out what people would like to see on this website. So far, there seems to be a great interest in having a list of family contacts. I was reluctant to do this sooner, as there are lots of nasty programs out there that harvest e-mail addresses from websites and spam you relentlessly. But after enlisting several savvy web programmers, I got just the right code that will keep robot intruders away.
Thanks to everyone who answered my questionaire, please contact me if any of the information in your contact section is incorrect or needs updating. Stay tuned for a genealogy chart coming in 2005.
So who am I?
Well, in the family tree, I am Oksana Bossy Fish's eldest daughter, Maria Fish, and this site grew out of a project I completed for a web design class I took years ago. David Bossy expressed interest in keeping a family record and having a site where Bossys could come and get family contact information and find out about upcoming reunions, announcements (there's been lots lately!), or share pictures.
It could also serve as a way of networking and posting a link to your business or website if you have one.
Thanks to Tina Bossy Freeman I have added quite a number of old photographs to a section I now call Gallery. If you have old pictures you would like to forward, or if you have information (location, dates, etc.) on any photos in these galleries, please forward them to me; I would greatly appreciate having any information on Bossys or Ruschaks in the old country.
So enjoy the website and let me know how it can be improved.
If you are an artist or a programmer, we could certainly use your skills here. In particular, a Bossy logo would be nice. As you can see, what I have up above is pretty boring ;-)
